Pinball Locator
Where do you go if you want to play pinball in the Puget Sound area? Anywhere, for that matter? Find out here!
Not too long from now this will read): Where do you go if you're somewhere else in the world and you want to play pinball? Find out here!)
Skill Shot (Seattle's Pinball Zine) is an indispensible reference for finding where you can play pinball in the Seattle area. Check them out on Facebook!
However, there has not been a comprehensive on-line list of pinball games and where to find them
in the Puget Sound area for quite some time.
I've tried a few times to construct a user-maintained database of games and locations, but
this would get bogged down with some recurring error or new projects taking priority.
Well, now I'm going to fix that.

Pinball Music
About six months ago I thought on a question common to a lot of serious pinball players: Is there any other good music about pinball besides bloody Pinball Wizard?
Yes, there is! A lot of it, too!
Once I had found this article on the Web, the search was on!
Pinball Expo '88 - Another Great Show - by Russ Jensen
The bit you want to read is Pinball On Record and it's about two or three topics into the page.
I am now communicating with Mr. Marston and I have already found things not on his lists!
OK, enough chit-chat, let's rock!

It looks like the ideal Pinball Locator has to be a multi-language effort. PHP is nice for having control over forms and user input, but perl is a lot better at handling large amounts of data and publishing the resulting data into pages.
So what I'm going to do is:
- Update the main tables. They're at least six months out-of-date (Add-A-Ball has been gone since November of last year, for example).
- Seattle pages are now up-to-date. (Not really. Tables have already switched places).
- Finish the publishing script and get the results up and available pronto.
- Publishing stuff finally in sync with the databases.
- Finish the Ultra-Cool Super Secret Dev Project. While there are hundreds of Pinball Locators on the Internet, I can definitely say that only mine will have this feature.
- Mobile pages. I'm the only one with those so far. (No I'm not. PDX beat me to it.)
- Fix the input modules. Anonymous entries will be accepted (since there will be a CAPCHA field), but I'll leave a data field for those of you who want to say who you are.
