Galactic Girl Debut

Georgetown, Seattle, Washington, USA

02/28/2010 - at the Tiger Lounge

This event had a lot of pinball people in Seattle excited for more than a month. After all, how many new pinball machines are released anymore?
Master pinball repairman Dominique had spent more than a year building Galactic Girl and had even put up teaser photos. But finally the day came around for The Field Test and the turnout was not disappointing at all! Easily 40 people showed up, even though only the first 15 were accepted for the Round Robin tournament.
Elijah had a clear victory with a 12-2 finish. I myself came in second to dead last with a 4-10. Eh, you win some, you lose some...
Galactic Girl saw almost non-stop action the whole evening and did not exhibit any faults at all!

Competition time! Kinda crowded down here, doncha think? The status board, minus two scores. Elijah and Brian turned just at the moment the flash was going off. Feh. The badly-beaten orange cone Elijah is holding is actually the trophy for winning the Galactic Girl comptetition (12-2). There was a plaque and some smiley-face lollipops that I could see stuck on the top of the cone.
